I’m currently watching Victoria's Secret documentary, this is what I’ve learnt... I grew up idolising the Victoria’s Secret Angels and dreaming of walking in the fashion show that reinforced what 'sexy' looked like. However, it was completely unattainable! Even the picture-perfect Angels were airbrushed, retouched and made to feel not ‘sexy’ enough. The media and society’s unrealistic beauty standards and expectations of how women should look are all about money, power and making you feel insecure. Don’t let anyone set the standard of beauty or ‘sexy’ for you.
