Never done a post like this but stuff it, I’ve found I’m more accountable for my actions when I throw it out there and get motivated by others along the way. A month on from my English Channel swim and enjoying a holiday, eating my body weight in pizza, pasta, croissants, ice cream and enjoying some partying it’s time to get moving again. For over 12 months I did nothing but swim and try to gain weight (8kg and a major increase in my Body Fat Percentage) to help with warmth and flotation in the channel and whilst I did that and it helped with a successful channel crossing it’s definitely taken a bit of a toll on the body and mind. Shoulder injury, bad food habits and a lot less muscle mass are where I’m starting from. For the next 40 days . @elabtraining PROJECT 40, it’s about creating new good habits, back in the gym lifting some weights, looking after the mind and doing what it takes to get the body feeling strong and moving pain free again. I am also opening up 10 new Personal Training spots training out of E-LAB Sydney so if you’re keen to join the journey send me a DM Thanks to @bodyscience and @mymusclechef for helping with food and supplements but the rest is up to me.
