✨ The 1st Annual Lover Awards ✨ Kanye (my brother) crashing the party was definitely the highlight! #beyonce October 13th marked 1 year of Lover! 🫶🏼 It was a joy to host a little award show to celebrate everyone that has been a part of creating our Eras Tour Experience! I remember at the beginning, September 2023... after putting all the work in to launch this project, spending all the money on costumes, promo videos, website and getting our name out there on social media... and then we just waited. It was about a month of silence, no bites, not a lot of interest. And I remember thinking, what if no one wants us, what if no one books us.. I remember crying about this, but I shared with one of my bandmates, saying that even if all of this was just for fun and it didn’t take off at all, I really did have the TIME OF MY LIFE creating this with my friends and it was still worth it. 😌 But I am SO thankful that this project hasn’t just been successful enough for me to quit my full-time job, but it’s been able to provide work for all my friends and a beautiful community to belong to 🤗 Here are stats from the past year that I shared at the Lover Awards: 60,000+ followers across platforms 20,000,000+ views on videos 66 Lover shows 36 ParTays @swiftpartays 🥳 (102 performances total!) 48 venues 43 cities 11 states 3 countries 2 continents 77 amazing people have worked in some capacity on the Lover team since day 1! (I wish I could tag all of you!) 5 staff members that care about making Lover excellent! I get to just focus on the things that only I can do. This was one of my goals from the start, and I can’t believe we’re already there and this is just a year in! Seeing how far this baby has grown and the imprint we’ve already made to bring the magic of the Eras Tour to everyone, I know it wouldn’t have been possible without allllllllll of you!
