i could make this caption chill, but that's not really my style. back in march, kate and i did this shoot with hopes of capturing the joy and the beauty that is worship in my life because i decided i want to tell the story of what worship is to me, so here we go. worship is a story of redemption. music has been a motif for most of my years on this earth, and in His refining me my God was gracious enough to allow music to become part of my life's ministry. the beautiful thing, though, is that He used music to teach me that worship is so much more than a song. worship is praise it is my joy it is my spirit it is the way nature literally exists to exalt Him, every created thing living the way He intended it to it is the posture of my heart it is my suffering it is the beautiful love i receive from the people around me, the love of the Lord that i pray to give back to those i meet it is my "yes, Lord" it is my steps i take in His will as He reveals my path day by day. and yet He allows me to take part in the creation of joyful noise, of worship through simple song. my prayer is that each song that i sing be lifted as an offering in return for this gift, as my voice is not mine to begin with. i have so much more i could say but i'll save that for another day :) this is not for anything that i could gain, just to honor Him and bring Him praise. like a fragrance broken on the floor may my worship be pure. - pure by Abbie Gamboa
