Thank you @freshbeauty for having me as your Face of Resilience for Singapore🙏🏼 I’ve been thinking about what it means to be resilient, and what it has meant to me.⁣ ⁣ I love this quote by Angela Duckworth: "Enthusiasm is common, endurance is rare.” In life, sometimes we win, and sometimes we learn. We will get knocked down now and then in big and small ways, but I believe that it’s how we choose to rise that defines us. Fall down seven times, get up eight.⁣ ⁣ Someone who is resilient, is someone who knows themselves well — their motivations, thoughts, emotions, actions, who takes the time to process and reflect on difficult or unfavourable situations. Someone who is willing to face the realities of setbacks, see them for the lessons and opportunities, then pick themselves up to make the next best move. This resilience is what builds confidence and character — not just the kind everyone sees, but the kind we alone feel deep within, that’ll lead us to the next level✨💪🏼 #FreshLoveSG #FreshTeaElixir
