Whewww, this is gonna be the longest post I’ve ever made but it’s NEEDED 😂 I’m gonna be honest and say when I got the call for this, I was equally overjoyed and terrified lol! Everyone in the production can tell you (because I said it a million times 💀) that this was my first time on stage since 2017. I felt extremely rusty and didn’t know if I would be able to comfortably jump back into it. I now know that I was here for the exact opposite. This show jolted me out of my comfort zone and reminded me how much I LOVE being on stage...and that I’ve been limiting myself all the way around. The biggest thank you to @joangrande and the entire @diamonddog team for having so much faith in me and allowing me to come be a part of something so fun and SO special. Thank you to our director @chaddmcmillan who kept his foot on my neck LOL! Keeping me present and always striving for a better performance than the last ✨ To my cast mates: (@mathenee @marissajaretwinokur @emmahunton we were never onstage together but you already know I adore you 🥺🖤) Thank you for being nothing but loving and welcoming, I can’t tell you what it meant to me. You are all such phenomenal performers and it was an honor to share the stage with you. To our sickening dancers: NO CRUMBS. That’s it, that’s all lol! I love y’all SO much, thank you for giving 200% every time you hit the stage! Our incredible choreographer @eamonjohnfoley made us look sooo good 😆 To our musical director @jonathanq.wav for helping me find spaces in my voice that I didn’t know existed 😂 and the most beautiful arrangements/harmonies 🖤 I’m just overwhelmed with love and gratitude.
