Nella notte tra domenica 20 e lunedì 21 novembre, al Microsoft Theatre di Los Angeles, è andata in scena la 50esima edizione degli American Music Awards. Nel corso della serata, i Maneskin non hanno certo arrestato la loro ascesa ma, al contrario, si sono aggiudicati un inaspettato premio trionfando nella categoria Favorite Rock Song grazie alla loro versione del brano dei The Four Season, “Beggin’”, pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1967. «È sorprendente per noi e non ci saremmo mai aspettati di vincere questa categoria contro questi grandi, grandi, grandi artisti» ha affermato sul palco il frontman del gruppo, Damiano David.
