Most loving pet owners never want to get news about losing their beloved pet, even when you believe you have plenty of time to prepare for if and when that day finally arrives... And even though you’re convinced you’ll know how to handle such news, it isn’t until that moment is upon you, that you realize just how wrong you are... Well, today is that day for me. The day I got the news that PORKCHOP, my “ride or die” pug of 14 years, passed away earlier today.... While I’m completely stunned by this unexpected and surprising news, I am also clear and level headed enough to take a sec to thank, first and foremost, my dear friend and the pig’s mama @obrien_jami and @davidhermanfilm, Porkchop’s other dad. Thank you letting me be part of his life until the very end. Will forever be grateful for that. And to all my friends and family (y’all know who you are, I ain’t trying to tag yor asses here🤣) who have known him throughout the years, thanks for being a part of his life too.
And look, when something like this happens, most LOVING PET OWNERS know/understand how surreal and difficult it is to grapple with loss of this kind, and I def ain’t no exception. To think he’s really gone, is going to take me a good moment to process... Maybe I will come back later to add more fun thoughts, maybe not, but for now, RIP PORKCHOP aka Da Pig. Will love and miss you always. 💔😞😢
