I spent some time with future ocean rowers (and one or two that already have a crossing or three under them) down at the ferlippin' brilliant @rowaurora sea school, and of course, the pub. 🍻 • Whilst I just popped in to chat with the teams about social media for their row, the overwhelming takeaway was that there is something different about people that are *odd* enough to row an ocean. And it was apparent immediately; an almost familial bond. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 • People there were from all walks of life, different countries, different careers, different backgrounds and I didn't know everyone's names when I walked in the room - but there was an immediate warmth and we didn't stop chatting, laughing, and sharing stories for the two days I was down for. 🗣️ • Ocean rowing boasts a small but bloody wonderful community, and for the overwhelming majority it's a community based in love, trust and respect for each other - I've come back absolutely buzzing! 😍 • Huge thanks to Dawn for allowing me to gate crash her amazing course.
