in a world that diminishes the beauty and magic of motherhood — I know the adversary would want us as mothers to think negative thoughts about our divine role in the home. don’t get me wrong... motherhood is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in a lot of ways. it’s emotionally, mentally and physically draining. it takes every bit out of you as you give your whole self to your family. and I definitely think we need to be taking care of ourselves as moms... that’s so important. but at the same time, I truly believe when we have an attitude of gratitude about all things in life, it opens the door to true joy. when we change our perspective, it can make such a difference. I need motherhood. I would not be the person I am today without it. I know my role is sacred, and me serving and raising my family is the most important job I have. and if you’re a mom and feeling discouraged and overwhelmed today, here’s a little reminder that you are doing amazing, and the work that you’re doing is so incredibly valuable and needed. Keep it up. the days are long but the years are short. 🤎
