I’ve written about this day and my recovery process a lot in the past, so for now I’m just going to enjoy the anniversary of this milestone and lean into the joy I’ve learned to embrace, in the growth over the last 8 years— not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. I‘ll also add: my chest doesn’t look the same as it did last year, or the year before that, or the year before that. My body continues to change, and I’m grateful for the ways it reminds me that I’m human. #transisbeautiful #pride
