MAKING HISTORY and my FULL CIRCLE MOMENT! I had the fortune of being a part of this! On Friday, for the first time ever, the @nasdaq closing bell was rung in celebration of Diwali with leading professionals, fellow entrepreneurs and investors from the South Asian community! As someone born in @hobokennj, who later moved to India in middle school, learning three languages from scratch and a host of new festivals, I had ALL the feels during this proud moment. Then to see that it was covered by my very first employer that hired me to write for @the_economic_times, @bennett_.coleman was icing on the cake. Thank you @anjula_acharia for that resonating speech about our 'funny clothing' that is now celebrated across the world. I went through five different outfit changes (when you're a part of the first ever Diwali bell ringing celebration at Nasdaq what DO you wear?).
