Traditions are such a special part of this time of year. Watching the Macy's Parade was our oldest Thanksgiving tradition, and ever since 2015, my childhood dream to be in it came true!! I am so grateful my family lives nearby so I can be with them after. This was the third year Michael and I hosted to give my parents a well-deserved break! And now Owen is here! So the new tradition is he and Michael watch the parade, Shelley and I clown in it, and my parents take the train in. We have a mid-day feast, play with Owen, and take a walk around Brooklyn. We write what we are grateful for (and our name and the year) on the white tablecloth.
