Too much tox and filler in the wrong places💉! Expressionless foreheads, overstuffed cheeks, and expanding lips 💋 hurt us all. While we can try to deposit blame on a few bad apples exercising poor judgment or out-of-field practitioners performing misguided treatments, maybe we should take a closer look at current training programs. Could there be an inherent bias within aesthetic training that deviates toward the unnatural😳? Current established training protocols recommend doses of neuromodulators and fillers that remove facial wrinkles and folds causing faces that might look good in static photos 📸 but look weird and unnatural in real life. Could there be an inherent bias to show bigger and better, to impress, but not focus in on the task at hand? Should we temper enthusiasm for newer and better techniques with an ability to improve feelings of self-worth❤️? Sometimes there is subtle discrepancy that we can’t just place but we know something’s off. The problem is usually lateral crows feet orbicularis muscle that doesn’t synchronize with the zygomaticus muscle that lifts the cheeks. The two muscles have to work in concert and if not, the smile 🙂 looks off just enough to make us uncomfortable. It is usually most evident with someone talks. They look fake! And worse the first impression projected is negative. Often, impressive photographs and social media post are not authentic. Sometimes a different perspective is appreciated, and perhaps a closer evaluation at what makes someone appear and feel attractive is needed. A subtle strategic approach with microdoplets in just the right places is all it takes to improve the first impression projected 🤩.
