What a weekend! Notting Hill Carnival 2022💫 So I wouldn’t say I’m a massive carnival goer because I don’t like crowds but I do it my way and have a FABULOUS time. I’m lucky enough to have a friend that lives just off of Portobello Rd by the food and sound systems, and every year she lends me her balcony - thank you so much @nadsek01 I get there around 12/1pm before it gets super busy loaded up with everything one would need for the whole day - obviously that differs for everyone 🤣. I sit my butt down and thoroughly enjoy people watching, it’s so entertaining and fascinating. After a few years of no carnival, this year everyone looked so ready to just be free and express themselves. It was wonderful to see so much liberation through dance and dressing up - or not dressing up! There was a lot of tits and arse on show with zero f**** given. Dress sizes didn’t exist here - they were just soooo irrelevant!!!! This was the best part - just so inclusive. To add to this my good friend @pot_ion had an amazing stall selling fresh Rum Punch that had the best ginger kick where me and the girls could dance about freely without being anxious of crowds just brilliant community spirit.
