UGLY SEASON OUT EVERYWHERE NOW I made this album with what has become my musical family of @evelyncouch66 @blakemills and @josephlorge 🎶 It includes some of my most favorite music we’ve ever made and the most difficult. I’m really proud of it and thankful that everyone seems to be engaging with the music in the way we intended, we really went apeshit on this one. With help from the incredible Sam Gendel, Matt Chamberlain and @mooserob beautiful cover painting and surrounding art from @nicasio_torres with direction from my angel @andrew_js the music was originally created for “the sun still burns here,” an evening length dance piece in collaboration with choreographer @katewallich and her company the YC @tomhouse90 @laviniavago @lauracarella Andrew Bartee and David Harvey. I was just tearfully looking at rehearsal photos, still full of love and inspired by that work and the friends we made. So much more. Feels like it was made in a different time but also very forward thinking, a real portal for me. I can easily spend more time inside it and find more even after years have gone by. I love music BYE
