For us at Eastern Margins, her practice evokes a sense of symbiosis - between nature and humanity, between artist and audience, between hallucination and imagination.

Rieko’s tentacular storytelling draws from microcosms of lived experience, expanding to political, ancestral, and more-than-human macrocosms. Her current project will culminate in the launch of her debut Regenesis EP in 2023. At the altar, we are unified. A communion, an embrace, a ritual together.
