🐶 We often share the wonderful work of P Sumneung but if you are new here, she was the star of our Unsung Heros campaign when we found her lovingly caring for over 200 unwanted dogs without any help. A nun who works at the local temple, she makes daily rounds with her pushcart, feeding all of the abandoned dogs along her route. Her home has become a place of sanctuary to the dogs at the temple and we were delighted to be able to rebuild her dwellings to ensure both her, and her dogs stay safe and dry for years to come. 🐾 Her loving spirit has had a downside as it is well known that P Sumneung will care for all dogs in need and as a direct result, sick, injured, and juvenile dogs are often left at the shelter where it is known that thy will be cared for. In this case two young pups have found themselves alone and in need of care after being callously left without a mother on the temple grounds. ⛑ P Sumneung scooped up Cha Nom and Cha Guay and asked for our assistance as one of the puppies was found with an open wound on her head and the other with a terrible cough. Without a mother to protect them or a human to keep them well fed, both puppies have succumbed to the harsh reality of life on the streets. 🩺 Both puppies will need some Jai TLC. Once they are treated and feeling much more like puppies should, they will be returned to P Sumneung who will continue to monitor their health. In the meantime, if you would like to help us cover the cost of their treatment, we would be so grateful.
