Have no idea what causes them to flare up but they’re extremely painful. These spasms can last for hours and are so intense it feels like my ribs and lungs are being squeezed and I’m struggling to breathe and can’t stand up straight. Ibuprofen helps but not much. I’m usually out for a day or two when these spasms start.
