When deciding the theme, there was no contest - one of the most visually engaging films I have ever watched is Sweet Charity (1969), a dazzling movie about a hopeless romantic who despite heartbreak and set-backs, soldiers on with heart. In a critical scene, titled “Rich Man’s Frug”, Charity enters a club called Pompeii and is confronted by the most fabulous, most bizarre party guests - a room I’ve longed to be in.
