This year, I married the love of my life, moved into my first home, and started working with behavioral students as my full-time job. I was promoted to matchmaker in CAGED THUNDER, the second highest role in any promotion, for my side gig. I covered so many sports, left an everlasting legacy in college radio, made crazy memories with friends, and grew closer to my family. But most importantly, I think I’ve grown more in my relationship with Christ than I have in years. This has been the most important part of my year. When I started studying the Word, returning to church, and taking my marriage to the next level, there was one major verse that carried me through it. My “life verse” or “favorite verse” has always been Proverbs 27:12. It was the first verse that struck me after my salvation and the first verse I preached behind a pulpit. But as I reflect on this incredible year, one verse feels like it truly sums up my 2024….. Thank You, God, for an incredible 2024. I can’t wait to see how You continue to bless me and my family. Here is the verse :) “Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.” - Micah 4:9
