@cnn has unveiled the most expensive cities to live in for 2022. According to the Worldwide Cost of Living Index, the average cost of living in 2022 has increased by 8.1%.⁠ ⁠ This year, New York City took the cake for the most expensive city, topping the list for the first time. Tied with the big apple is Singapore, which has repeatedly led the list in previous years.
