Day 2: Midnights in Milan ⛪️🇮🇹🥉🥌⛸️🏒🇨🇦 📍Managed to work the Duomo into Italy making history in figure skating, winning their first figure skating medal in the team event 🥉 📍Dragged my colleagues @julia_ludol and @christophervo__ to figure skating and was transported back to how this was my first dream in life, which forged the person I am now. Always getting back up, and loving to dress “extra.” The music and movement is so meditative. I hadn’t realized how much watching figure skating catapults you into being so present. 📍ate at the same and only restaurant we’ve been to and it’s time to change it up 📍galleria lit up at night with Olympic lights is too beautiful for words 📍I couldn’t not be a figure skating judge with this coat 📍I wore this faux fur headband because I forgot my hair brush 📍went to redeem my pin trading respect, fell deeper into a hole but managed to make out strong (I think) 📍 The Olympics is the most overly stimulating experience ever. I crashed out for a bit waiting for the subway but a thoughtful “Cool Runnings” pin helped bring me back to life. I love watching and capturing the nuances of every day here. The Games reminds us of the highs and lows of life and sport. I commend and congratulate every single person who has dedicated their life to being an Olympian. I will always be in awe of the athletes. You are the reason any of us are here.
