Welcome to Week 1 of the October Dazzler Roller Dance workshops! What a great kick off to the series! This month the classes are small but mighty and I was sure to bring some @skatelovebcn home with me to share with the group! Let’s recap! Beginning workshop - we learned the BREW fundamentals - bounce/ kick stationary and prepping for pairs - pumps, basic footwork/pivots and horizontal walks/weigh shifts Beginning Plus workshop - Rising Phoenix - 2 variations. The original version with the quick steps and a modification with a “lean” step. I had the pleasure of doing this move with @skatefantacee in BCN. Swipe for the video - Outside In + All Together - this is a variation on the footwork move I normally do, but adding a move from @dhawkllc and @mohawk0410 that we taught a group to do in BCN. After not teaching for a month, traveling and suffering through COVID, I can confirm that these Sunday classes are my savior!
