My freshman high school season came to an end last week in the state semifinals. This season was an important chapter in my volleyball journey—a chapter full of growth, patience, time management, soul-searching, and learning who I am as an athlete and teammate. Thank you to my teammates on both JV and Varsity for being kind, supportive, and truly great teammates. To the seniors who took us freshmen under your wings—thank you. My big sis Madi, Eve, Ella, Kamille and Brooke. You all showed me what leadership looks like when it’s done with class. You were the role models every freshman hopes for. To my JV coaches, thank you for your patience with us floaters and for believing in our potential. And thank you, Coach Brenna, for welcoming us onto the Varsity squad and giving us the chance to experience that environment. One of the best parts of this season was getting to play alongside my sister. Izz thank you for always pushing me, challenging me, and staying right on my heels in the best way. I wouldn’t want to do this journey without you. ❤️ I’m excited to head into club season with a mindset of growth and grit. There’s so much to look forward too!! Always remember how far you’ve come—and how much more you can become when you play outside your comfort zone.
