The inaugural APIDA Arts Festival in Chicago instantly became the largest in the Midwest. Can you imagine, this was all free and fully accessible to everyone? Executive Director Mia Park @miaparkmiapark and her energy was wildly contagious – thank you for bringing this all together! Showcasing the creativity from all mediums and disciplines at the Chicago Cultural Center, Goodman Theater, Museum of Contemporary Art, and Looking Glass Theater, it was a celebration I didn't know I was looking for. I hope to see you all there next year! I chair-ished my time with Anthony Nguyen @anguyen43, furniture aficionado, for bringing me onto the photography and video team.
