I received a call to create some BV ideas for Ella Mai for the ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ tour on which she is currently supporting Mary J Blige. I was on a beach with my family and we had a tight turn around so I called on my sister Adia for help as this was an opportunity that I did not want to pass on. We bounced ideas, then started recording between Jamaica, Alabama and then London, UK. We used FaceTime, a shared google document with annotations to make our remote recordings happen. The goal was to create parts that complimented the band that the singers could perform with ease alongside choreography and create structured bv parts. @jamahlsmith11 we can’t wait to meet you!
