In February 2021 I took my first ever solo trip. I saw a video of the absolutely stunning Royal Gorge Route in Cañon City, Colorado and wanted to make a Denver excursion out of it. At the time, I was desperately trying to understand myself as I felt like the version of me most people knew, myself included, had died in the Summer of 2020 and I was creating myself all over again. I hoped that spending 3 days with just my own company would bring me more peace but I was actually aggressively reminded that I cannot run away from my internal problems LOL. Once that realization came to light, the trip became exceeding more enjoyable and kickstarted a much inner work that had to be done in LA. Immensely grateful that I have been able to show up for myself countless times this year. ♥️ I hope you feel the same. ✨ (This was the only time I remembered to take a solo photo, the mountains outside denver are wildly more beautiful than this lol)
