For my ABIM Internal Medicine Boards study schedule (took a similar approach for my Step 1-3 schedule) -Throughout residency, did the MKSAP topic specific to whatever rotation I was on -My study plan started 6 months before the August exam date (especially because some months I was not able to study as much -ICU, and I knew I had to move/start fellowship & would have less free time) -Starting in February, I did the MKSAP qbank from the beginning, annotating/highlighting this yellow Board Basics book as I did questions -Once I completed MKSAP, I did Uworld also annotating (in a different color). Then repeated all my wrongs on UWorld (I also tried the MedStudy qbank/books but ultimately didn’t like their qbank as much) -The 2 weeks leading into the exam, I re-read the Board Basic book, with all my annotations, making a high yield sheet of things to memorize -I read this sheet the day before the exam. . . .
