A quintessential part of Italy’s (and thus the world’s) motorsport canon, the Mille Miglia seems to exist outside the boundaries of reality, and the 2022 edition completed earlier today is just another piece of proof. Irreplaceable coupés, sedans, spiders, and barchettas blur through city, village, and countryside alike, often with police escorts and no shortage of fanfare. It’s not quite the same as it was in 1955, but there’s nothing quite like the Mille Miglia, either.
