As a Palestinian-American woman, my heart aches deeply for the suffering of my people. As you may know, my father is Palestinian. His mother was forcefully removed from her home in Palestine 75 years ago and was never able to return. Since then, the Palestinians have lived under a military occupation in a constant state of oppression and fear for their lives. I pray I see the day where Palestine is free, and until then it is my duty to educate the world of our history. This is not a war, it is a genocide.
