james, from watching you first step on the field at the ripe age of 4, to watching ur dream come true on sunday, it has truly been one of the best rides i have been blessed to be apart of. and it has been a privilege to have a front row seat the whole time. one of biggest blessings in my entire life to call you my brother and best friend. you have always been someone i have looked up to and having you as my big brother has been nothing less than a gift from God. you are the most deserving person of all of it and more deserving of what’s to come. i have never been more happy to have dealt with the hours upon hours of traveling around the world to see you play baseball than now knowing it has all paid off. dude you are simply one of the most talented, kindest, humble, and christ- like people/player i know and i can’t wait to see what this next chapter of your life brings. . i am so happy for you and everything you have accomplished and can’t wait to see you do big things on an even bigger stage. thank you for always pushing me to be a better athlete and a better version of my self. i wouldn’t be who i am without ur love and support all these years. i love you so much and im so proud of you. here’s to living in a BIGGER shadow now. don’t forget me when ur famous and remember that me chasing you around the yard is the only reason you’ve stolen so many bases.
