🌟If, like me, you suffer with anxiety, try this tiny calming meditation on #worldmentalhealthday Find a place to sit where there’s a spot of sunlight and let it warm your face. Take a deep breath or two and let the light and warmth slowly fill you up from your head to your toes. Relax your muscles. Listen to the sounds around you instead of your thoughts, or take notice of your breath going in and out. Be still for a few moments. If you notice you’ve lost focus, draw your attention back to the warmth on your face or the feeling of breathing. Meditation like this is known to reduce stress and lower inflammation in the brain. I use the @Calm app regularly (not an ad) as it offers really helpful guided meditations but there are also free meditations on YouTube.
