The crazy part is, when this billboard first came out, for weeks I couldn’t even see it because I was sick with covid 😷. IT WARMS MY HEART to have a solid, LOVING, SUPPORTIVE village who, even without me, wasted NO TIME in going to see me in my FIRST BILLBOARD! 😆 And then finally, when I got over covid, I got to experience seeing my face in the middle of Times Square with the rest of my village, and most importantly MY MOM 🥰. A win doesn’t feel as sweet without the ones you love PRESENT and rooting for you. It was so grounding to hear my mother’s wife remind me that I’ve been planting this seed since I was a child. That I’ve always had these dreams, WAY before social media. And my mom’s been supporting my outrageous dreams forever.
