The first and favourite ceremony of ours was Reading festival. This fest is in our DNA I saved up all my TGI Fridays tip money to go. It’s where we saw every influential band, where we learned from our hero’s and where it all started. I would make itineraries and militantly queue at 11am to wait for the first performances. Long hours were sat by campfires discussing drum tones, pedals we peeped and how to sneak vodka down ur top through the gates. I brought my camping stove and cooked porridge in the mornings and would wear my wristbands like a crusty medal collection for years to come. Tomorrow we play @officialrandl mainstage at 1.45 as the same friends that started this weird band 10 years ago. I don’t really have the words to explain how this feels. All I can say is come down early Cus we have a surprise in store for you. And i know that the future of music will probably be wandering around the festival somewhere drinking vodka and flat lemonade. So to play to you is maybe the most exciting thing of all.
