Leaving Lima Montana I randomly ran into an old buddy. It was amazing to run into @hikes.camera.adventure on our individual GDMBR adventures. He’s going south. I’m going north. I had no clue I was about to cross paths with him. We first met when I was on (I think) my last day heading south on my winter AT thru hike back in ‘16-‘17. He was just beginning his first adventure. We exchanged some words. And just like this time, he took my picture. Only this time he was in it. I was love the serendipity of running into someone you know while out on a long adventure. An extra half hour spent somewhere off the trail and you might miss them. That’s how serendipity works baby! This was a beautiful day. The large, shadeless basins when you’re not in the mountains are hot and long and have the propensity to be quite windy. Gotta hope it’s not a head wind! @gaiagps @ridepriority @mountainsmith
