The end of an era. These people and all of the people behind the cameras that you don’t see love this sport so much. I think you can see the passion by how amazing the broadcast is week in and week out. I’m so happy to have been a part of it. Crazy that @ctritscher, @rennersuk @alalthoff somehow thought to take a chance on me a few years ago. I can’t thank @ctritscher enough for all of the patience, teaching and encouragement he has given me. Same with all of @sunsetandvinetv, @wedders26, @movemedialtd @brianna_mcshane and @ls_sports Presenting and commentating is really hard and everyone let me make so many mistakes and patiently helped me get better. Thank you to NEP for being amazing camera opperators, rigging cameras in the rain and cold and allowing me hang out with you all over the world. The @redbullbike team was crazy supportive and encouraging of all our crazy ideas. @davecronolly @nheyden and @lkrajnik let me do so much cool social stuff. Thanks @flo_maxl and Soren for the amazing graphics and data work and @wolisphoto for taking awesome photos. Thank you to @robwarner970. Before Rob, I never knew what it meant to have a mentor. Someone who cares about your success for no other reason than they want you to succeed. I don’t think he actually knows how much he helped me but just being able to see him work on his lines, to see the hours and hours of prep that he put in to it, the little things that he said to me that made all the difference. To work along side the greatest to ever do it is pretty special no matter what context. He is a big reason the sport is where it is today. I won’t be moving over to the new organization taking over so for now I’ll say goodbye to the World Cups. It’s very fitting that my first ever World Cup race was at Val di Sole in 2010 and my last broadcast was at Val di Sole in 2022. I know Red Bull loves MTB and they aren’t going anywhere so I’m sure I’ll see many of you at events and, who knows, maybe I’ll be back there in a different context, or even as a spectator, but for now I’m just happy to look back the amazing times and friendships that I built over the last 12 years.
