On the @virginvoyages cruise I recently took, my favorite part (minus just exploring and enjoying the boat) was our day in Dubrovnik, Croatia. All of the ports of call were amazing (Dubrovnik, Split, Kotor, Corfu) but Dubrovnik really blew me away!
In Dubrovnik we did so much - walked the city walls, explored Old Town, had lunch by the port and went to the beach.
Photos in order of highlights from Dubrovnik and on the @virginvoyages boat, The Resilient Lady.
- Walking the city walls in Dubrovnik. Highly recommend to do this in the morning or evening because it gets so hot and there’s no shade!
- Lunch at @lokandapeskarija right along the water in the port area.
- Stopping for lemonade high up on the city walls.
- Overlook of the gorgeous Banje Beach. It truly looked like the Caribbean!
- Trying local Croatian wine. The water was so blue and so crystal clear.
- Back on the boat - Breakfast room service with Kotor, Montenegro in the background. Almost all food is included on board, including room service. There is a small service fee for room service which can go towards ordering coffee or a cocktail (specialty coffee drinks, like the oat milk iced latte I had every morning, does cost a small amount extra).
- Pizza on board. The food options on @virginvoyages were endless and all so good. I loved the variety, and the pizza place was a favorite. All pizzas were personal sized and cooked fresh to order.
- Strawberry daiquiri looking over the main pool on board.
- Hanging out on the pool deck. There’s SO much to do in the pool area - DJs, games, running track, multiple bars and restaurants, photo opps, hammocks, etc. always something going on!
- The color of the water from the boat was so mesmerizing. We loved the bar in the bar of the boat and just watching the waves and the wake go by.
