We are excited to welcome the newest additions to the Art Start team this summer! Danny Arenas, LMSW - Director of Programs and Impact Danny joins us as Art Start’s Director of Programs and Impact. Prior to joining Art Start Danny worked with Urban Pathways as the Director of Social Services at a shelter in Midtown Manhattan. He began his career in social services as a Preventive Case Manager for Institute for Child and Family Health. He has self published two photography books and has exhibited his paintings in Miami, New York and New Jersey Nedelle Torrisi - Development Associate Nedelle brings over ten years of valuable executive assistance experience to Art Start’s development team, most recently as Executive Assistant and Content Creator for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). In addition, Nedelle brings high-level coordination experience booking and overseeing touring logistics for successful music artists. Cat Pond - Associate Program Manager Cat joined us in June as Art Start’s Associate Program Manager of our Creative Connections in Milwaukee. Cat’s previous experience was as Program Director for two busy Americorp programs, and the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
