it’s an honor to share that i am on this years list for Out100 @outmagazine . this is my second time being featured on this list and i actually didn’t know that was possible? so this is incredibly humbling. as grateful as i am, i would be remiss if i didn’t mention or thank the black trans people who walked so i could dance through this life in the way that i do. i’m thinking of my homegirl Dominique Rem’mie Fells, her body was found dismembered 2 years ago, she was so gentle and loving from the day we met, I met her at a protest in D.C, she was all that and a bag of chips. i’m thinking of the Transgender District @transgenderdistrict and House of Tulip @houseoftulipno and the living pioneers Aria Said @ariasaid and Mariah Moore @themariahmoore i’m thinking of my girls Osh, Qween @qween_jean and Omi @nyomistewart and Hope Giselle @hopegiselle who inspire me in more ways then I can count, and all of the girls, my beautiful girls, all of them. I’m also thinking of a young, bright and beautiful student I met last year at a school that I spoke at who died by suicide a month after, they were one of our own, brown & queer. some days I don’t know what i’m doing here, but everyday i’m thankful.
