With a paintbrush in hand, 22-year-old Afghan activist @olyamrd helps young women and children heal from trauma of war in Afghanistan. Currently a university student in Lithuania, Olya escaped the Taliban’s ban on secondary education, when she left Afghanistan two years ago. But her younger sister wasn’t as lucky. Olya uses her voice and artistic talent to uplift Afghan girls and women - like her sister - who have been silenced.
