The end of an era. There are not enough words to describe how much this game means to me, or enough pictures to show all of the amazing memories we’ve made along the way. There are no better girls I would have chose to grow up on the ball field with, or to step on the field one last time with. Although there are many lasts coming in the next couple of days, it never hit me that I would play my last softball game until it was over. There are so many lows in this game of failure, but it has never failed to give me something to be proud and grateful for. All of these precious girls and memories I will choose to hold close to my heart and never forget how this sport made me into the person I am today. There has been so many tears shed, sweat dripped, and blood smeared, but all that matters is I had these girls beside me the whole time. Thank you softball for all of the memories and lifelong friendships I will cherish forever. Even though this season didn’t end as we had hoped, everything happens for a reason and I believe God put this team in my life for a reason, and for that I will always be thankful. #allibugout
