I’ve been kept quiet and now, I’ve had enough. We are all one and now, It is time to speak up. There is no justification for racism in 2021. We are moving backwards. When you think people will change, take action and take responsibility it is just shot down by the media with news that fails to portray the truth. This is racial hate crime murder, not just a ‘shooting’. Do these people understand how we feel when we read this?! Does anyone? It is so messed up, again swept under the carpet. As Asians we are told and expected by society to keep quiet. To be ‘the model minority’. That is over : Are we living in a world where we can’t see? The irony is that I’ve been told that I can’t see out of my ‘slanted’ Asian eyes but I beg to differ.
