Today is #internationaldayofthegirl and I had the incredible pleasure of hosting an exclusive @morningmindsetwithtai for more than 1000 girls across the country for @girls_build national summit! Thank you so much @lapromisefund for having me! As I reflect on what it was like to be a 15 year old at @saintvincentacademy in #Newark, I remember feeling powerful but not knowing how to stand in that power! The key, I now know, is to affirm what you believe about who God made you to be and stay close to those who believe what you know about yourself! And then pay it forward.
