Akti Bao opened 4 years ago in Panama, offering the community their take on the popular Chinese dish, Bao Buns. Bao Buns, or ‘steamed buns’, are a delicious fluffy treat made from a sweet, white dough. The dough is made from a mix of flour, yeast, sugar, baking powder, milk and oil. Since the bao is a bit sweeter than your average dough, they are typically filled with crunchy, savory fillings 😋 . Lucky for us, Akti Bao has made their way down to Miami where they’ve been serving up delicious meat and vegan bao buns.
