With every turn around the sun, I return home to myself even more. Each year teaches me something new. It comes with new challenges, new lessons, and new paths of growth. With it all teaching me about myself, my strength, and my perseverance. I’ve never feared getting older. I embrace each year with an eagerness to grow. I would never return to my younger self even though she was thinner, less lined, and slept soundly at night with no kids to worry about. I cherish all of my wisdom and every moment that brought it to me. ⁠ ⁠ So here’s to 43. I look forward to the adventure this number brings me.
