My eyes have seen, this lady Spy, She sneaks and peaks, but does not lie, She ain’t too shy, so don’t go think, She’ll leave you dry, her ink runs pink, Cool as composed, like how she stink, A slow regard, and a silent wink... Slowly getting my feet back out on the land and waking up my mushroom minds-eye for the season. Recalibrating and unwinding in gratitude and in praise of the wild lands, calling us mushroom people back into the originality of it all. We are still enrolling devoted mushroom students for our Nov 11 & 12 mushroom camp. Believe me, the lineup of activities is so special, you don’t want to miss this one 💜🍄 A two day immersion, where we will gather as a group, discuss, identify local mushrooms, cook together and learn multiple tried & true identification methods. Plus, our friend Allie from @rootedbotanics is making a special birthday appearance to lead us in a mushroom-based, dye workshop, teaching us to dye our very own silk scarves together! DM for more info! 🌧️ 🍄🌲 Mushroom specimens include: • The Spy aka The Miller aka Clitopilus prunulus. Often a precursory species linked by parasitic connection to mycelium of true boletus species, and usually within very close fruiting proximity of one another. • Cali King Bolete aka Porcini aka Boletus Edulis var grandedulis • Pacific Golden Chanterelle aka Cantharellus formosus • Shaggy mane aka Coprinus comatus. Disintegrates and liquifies into a squid-ink looking slime, sometimes within hours of being picked. • Amanita augusta • Lepiota spheniscispora
