New to the Ventures range - Melka Gumie. Melka Gumie is a smallhold producer from Harfusa, Yirgacheffe. Her farm cultivates traditional Ethiopian heirloom varieties; the term for coffee of Ethiopian origin that extends across thousands of different species of the plant. As the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia is home to more species of coffee plant that anywhere else in the world, much of it still growing wild and undiscovered. This lot is a wonderful example of why Ethiopian cups are so popular; full of juicy fruit notes, rounded texture and sweet aromatics.
