Seeing all those pics of Edinburgh popping up on my feed has brought out memories of my own trip there. That has been on my bucket list in like forever so it holds a special place in my heart. Even better that I got to discover it with @siowwan 🤍 I was just spellbound by the city (I was really fascinated and a little creeped out by what they call the closes) and the castles which got me imagining what it must have been like during the reign of those kings and queens I have only read about in books or watched on History Channel (all the plotting, assasinations, mysteries, pageantry!) And now you know my fondness for medieval history.
