It’s my first time at the White House and I’m very proud to be here with my friends @everytown and so many survivors and volunteers who have worked tirelessly for this cause to mark the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act -the first major gun safety legislation passed in almost 30 years. It’s nowhere near enough- but it is a step in the right direction and the beginning of many more steps we will push forward to take. In America, the current number one cause of death for CHILDREN is gun violence. It has to stop. We must demand more sensible gun laws now. Enough is enough.
